Resizing a Veritas disk in Solaris.

Example for disk 39 on a host with EMC disks.

#devfsadm -C
#vxdisk list |grep d39
=>
c2t5006048C52A7FEF3d39s2
c2t5006048C52A777F3d39s2

# Do this on both disks:
#echo |format | grep c…d39s2

# Maybe null the disk first:: format -e , par, pri, lab: 1; lab: 0

#vxdisksetup -i c…d39 # Without s2!
#vxdg -g your_dg adddisk 2741-39=c…39s2
#vxmake -g your_dg sd 2751-39-01 offset=0 len=39671040 disk=2751-39
#vxsd -g your_dg assoc your_oracle01-03 2751-39-01
#vxvol -g your_dg set len=39671040 zrs_oracle01
#vxprint -ht -g zrs_dg
#vxtask list
#growfs -M /path/to/oracle01 /dev/vx/rdsk/yourdg/your_oracle01
