BGR: The definition of stupid.

Brad Reed for BGR: From a sales perspective, the iPhone 5c looks like a dud…

Oct. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c
Nov. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c

Sprint sales (in order):
Sept. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Apple iPhone 5c, Samsung Galaxy S4
Oct. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c
Nov. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c

T-Mobile sales (in order):
Sept. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Apple iPhone 5c, Samsung Galaxy S4
Oct. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c
Nov. 13: Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5c

So, the iPhone 5c…is a “dud”. Remember, all other phones an those carriers sold less, and considering the 2:1 ratio the 5s is outselling the 5c, the numbers from Apple late January will be interesting…to understand what a “dud” is.
9 million iPhones were sold in the first three days of availability, so around 3 million 5c’s.

I’m waiting for Mr. Reed to pronounce all phones, including the Galaxy S4, that sold below the iPhone 5c’s numbers, to be “disasters”. Yeah, I know…
